Place of safety | ABBA House | Colbyn, Pretoria
ABBA is a Christian short-term place of safety for babies in need, usually up to 6 months of age or until the babies are medically and legally ready for adoption. Their babies are tested at birth to determine if they were exposed to HIV at birth.
The focus of ABBA House is to match the tiny baby up with a loving family who will provide a stable home experience where a sense of belonging and values will be instilled in the important formative years.
ABBA House falls under SA Cares for Life, which networks with the Impact Mobilisation Department of Hatfield Christian Church.
Their babies are legally placed with them by the social workers at ABBA Adoptions of the Apostolic Faith Mission Executive Welfare Council.
Abba House answers the growing need of abandoned babies in South Africa and they care passionately for the orphans or abandoned babies who are placed for a short while in their tender care.
