They started out in 1980 as specialist suppliers of safety equipment and protective clothing after realising the need for these products. Over the years they have added many new stock lines, essential to the well-being of workers in industry.

In 1986 they opened a fire extinguisher division but later decided to focus on the safety division. Their store renders a unique experience to its clients in the sectors of industry, agriculture, mining and commerce.

Distributorships were acquired for world renowned brand names such as 3M ( respiratory ), Peltor ( hearing ) and Uvex ( eye protection ) to name just a few.

Protecto-Wear’s staff receive on-going instruction in product knowledge and offer in-house training in the correct use of all the safety products supplied. Their mission is simply to deliver the right product, at the most cost effective rate and in the quickest possible time.
